Bal’s Spice Marketing Project

This project was written and presented on my sophomore year, 2014. It was written for a marketing course I was taking at that time. The main purpose of this project was to research new companies, such as Bal’s Spice and help them create strategies to increase their revenues.

In this paper:

  1. Collaborated in a team of 5 students to develop and present a 20 page proposal regarding sales strategies for Ball’s Spice Kitchen restaurant at UT Dallas

  2. Designed 30 minute interactive Power Point to explain sales strategies

  3. Surveyed over 100 students to gather data for customer satisfaction and found that majority of students did not know about the restaurant

  4. Recommended restaurant to invest money on marketing to popularize restaurant among students

Businesses Give Back: Texas Instruments

This project was written in the fall of my junior year, 2016. It was written for Business Communication class I was taking. In this project, we discussed the issue of lack of women in STEM. We as a Texas Instrument representative proposed a solution to Dallas Chamber of Commerce to help us fund the project.

In this Paper:

  1. Discussed the importance of education

  2. Identified the problem of why women are less interested in STEM subjects

  3. Researched and provided with statistics

  4. Developed a program that is going to increase the number of women participation in STEM

  5. Estimated the cost of the program and proposed to Dallas Chamber of Commerce

Financial Statements : Tesla Motors

This paper was written in the fall of my freshmen year, 2014. It was written for financial accounting course. The main point of the project was to have a hands-on experience with financial knowledge that we learned in class.

In this paper:

  1. Analyzed Tesla motors most recent financial documents to find their position in the market

  2. Estimated company’s value and forecasted future stock market price, using financial tools such as price to earnings ratio, debt to equity ratio, free cash flow, return on equity and so on.

  3. Concluded that Tesla motors needs new strategies to improve their cash flows to be more competitive with major car companies.
